Palestinian, Muslim, Hijabi, Arabic-speaker, Woman… these are just a few labels from many more that Maysan feels have stereotyped her during her life abroad.

The very same labels that kept her in the vivid memory of many people in her journey through Munich, Geneva, Tel Aviv...

Her scientific passion and strong interest in Microplastic pollution started from an ecology class as bachelor student in her small hometown Birzeit. The love for discoveries was not only a scientific sided story, it expanded to include discovering new countries and cultures with an open heart.
